I don't know about the rest of you, but I am SO ready for spring. I've cleaned out my family room in preparation for new furniture. (Now all I have to do is find something I like.) I've planned my spring projects...landscaping, powerwash siding, re-paint the deck. But most important of all, I've lost four pounds, and I've changed the background of my blog.
What do you think of my new look? And what are you doing to get ready for spring?
I will be away for a few days, taking my oldest daughter to look at a college outside of Pittsburgh, and may or may not have access to the Internet. I'll respond to your comments when I return. Until then, may your days be productive and your nights filled with whatever makes you happy!

Jeez, I don't think you live THAT far away from me. The wind is howling here like a sonuva, er, gun. White cracks of lighting. Cars blowing off the road. Well, maybe not quite. But it sure sounds like it.
ReplyDeleteOTOH, DST starts tonight!! YAY!
Sooo ready for the daylight.
Sorry we missed you today.
Thanks for stopping by, Terri! So far, spring is a state of mind....but I'll be ready when it gets here. I wanted to come today but had lots to do in preparation for my trip. Did you read again? Did you send your story to Corina Press yet?
ReplyDeleteThe weather out here in Colorado has been beautiful of late -- today it was right about 60 (but it feels even warmer because we're a mile above sea level and the sun in INTENSE!). I don't miss the damp gray mess that is winter in the Hudson Valley.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe and productive trip to Pittsburgh. Checking out schools is always... an adventure.
Hi, John!
ReplyDeleteAs I wait to leave on my....adventure, I thought I'd take a minute to hop on to my blog. I'm so glad you stopped by. The weather here is rather gloomy. My backyard looks like a swamp. My husband will be out in Colorado in April. I would have gone with him except my youngest daughter has a baton twirling competition. Enjoy your beautiful weather.
Spring is sprung down here in Texas and I am soooo glad. I'm ready for warm breezes and camping under the stars.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm so happy for you and the 4 pounds. *leans in closer to her monitor hoping the weight loss factor is a communicable net virus thingee*
Have fun on the college road trip!
You have a great sense of humor, Regina! My road trip went great. We came home early because there wasn't much to do after meeting with admissions and touring the school. My daughter and I had fun but spent way toooooooo much time driving.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Wendy! I love the new look--it's so fresh and springy. Just the ticket, even if the weather outside your door is lousy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Merissa! Today is bright and sunny and beautiful. Invigorating! Now I'd best get to work!
ReplyDeleteGlad your road trip was a success and you are home safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dale! It was a lot of driving, but was nice to spend one on one time with my daughter. (Who will be leaving home come October....sniff, sniff.)
